To better manage the value chain, lessen reliance on suppliers, and boost corporate competitiveness, we have our own mines for backward integration techniques. Asian Micron is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of quality in all of its offerings.
Water and raw China clay (Kaolin) are combined to produce a slurry that resembles a milkshake. The clay particles are simply suspended in the mixture of water and scattered clay, which is known as a slurry.
Once slurry is passed through Magnetic process, it removes 85% to 90% iron out of it. For superior quality seeking customers we pass slurry 3 times to remove 98% - 99% iron.
Solid-Liquid
Separation
We add proprietary chemicals, mix rigorously with slurry. Then we give time to take
chemical reaction start. After few hours, solid particles starts to move bottom. When
this process is over, Slurry tank has two layers:
1. Top Layer of water
2. Bottom Layer of solid mineral.
We pump water out and we are left with minerals with 40% to 45% moisture. Which we shall
remove in next stage.
It is a method of dewatering kaolin clay. A membrane filter press may be used to extract water from Lavigated kaolin clay slurry, leaving behind a filter cake. Optionally, the filter cake might be dried or re-dispersed. after the filter press kaolin clay has 25 to 30 percent moisture.
The wet cake, which has a moisture content of 25 to 30%, is transported to drying facilities, and it is dried under the sunlight naturally. The final product has a moisture content of 3% to 5% and is in lumps form.
Following sun drying, the cakes are broken into small pieces (maximum 5"), or powder, or molding in noodle form depending on the customer's preferences.
